Itinerary:
DAY TO DAY ITINERARY:
Day 1- Welcome to Spokane, WA, sight of the 1974 World’s Fair.  Your tour director will meet you at the airport and arrange transfer to your hotel.  We will have a tour of Spokane this afternoon and you will have time to explore on your own for dinner.
Day 2 – As we begin our sightseeing day, we travel across the dynamic landscape of Northern Idaho and Montana. We will see the resort town of Coeur d’Alene and visit the Coeur d’Alene’s Mission State Park with the oldest building in Idaho. Before we cross into Montana. Scenic Clark River Valley, Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains will give us lots to look at as we head for our overnight in Whitefish, MT Breakfast
Day 3 – Following the Flathead River, we arrive at Glacier National Park.  You will have time to enjoy the historic Lake MacDonald area and have lunch before we board our “Red Busses” for the tour of a lifetime over the Going to the Sun Road. Our driver-guide will stop for many photo opps and give us info on the people and places.  This afternoon we head for the Many Glacier area of the park set in a glacier carved valley at the foot of the spectacular Northern Rocky Mountains. Breakfast
Day 4 –We continue to look for wildlife as we view the Rockies on our way to Great Falls, MT.  On the way we pass through several historic towns, each with their own story.  After an included lunch, we will continue along the Lewis and Clark Trail to the Gates of the Rocky Mountains, where we will take a boat cruise on the Missouri River.  We will hear tales of the Corps of Discovery and the geology of this beautiful canyon.  We overnight in the State Capitol City of Helena and take a tour of town. Breakfast & Lunch
Day 5 – Traveling through historic mining country, we arrive in Virginia City where we are treated to a tour on a classic fire engine.  There will be time for exploring, shopping and lunch before we head for Yellowstone National Park along the Madison River Canyon.  We will stay two nights at West Yellowstone, MT. Breakfast
Day 6 – Today we will see the upper loop of Yellowstone including Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley, Dunraven Pass and The Canyon Area and look for wildlife and geologic wonders everywhere. Breakfast
Day 7 – The beauty of the Upper and Lower Falls begins our day with the Hayden Valley leading us up the Yellowstone River to Lake Yellowstone. After our lunch stop in the Lake Area we continue to Grand Teton National Park with lots of picture stops along the way through Jackson Hole. Overnight for the next two nights is in the western town of Jackson, WY. Breakfast
Day 8 – Today is for you to plan. Enjoy the Western Town of Jackson, WY. Shop, enjoy galleries and museums, or sign up for the options. Saddle up to the bar at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Tonight, we will enjoy a farewell dinner together with a covered wagon ride into the Cache National Forest for singin’ and eatin’ with the Bar-T-Five, where we can recall great sights and enjoy new friends, one last time. Day 9 – Breakfast – Your tour director will arrange your airport shuttles and be with you, when you depart from Jackson to bid farewell, with new friends and fond memories of your
